Nurse Managers’ Perception and Practice on the Theory of Technological Competency as Caring in Nursing: A Preliminary Study

In spite of emphasis on patient-centered care and promotion their quality, shortcomings have been seen in psychiatric due to lack compassion. To improve the quality caring nursing, it is important develop implement in-service education based Locsin’s Technological Competency as Caring Nursing (TCCN) theory. Objectives determine nurse managers' perception practice status a preliminary survey serve resource for nursing education. This was conducted August 2022 using Instrument-Revised Practice (TCCNI-Repract) scale at "A" hospital. Descriptive statistics Wilcoxon's signed-rank tests were used.
